Duration: 9am - 6pm (Lunch break 1hr)

Job Level: All Level are welcome

At work, there may be times when you don’t feel that you have been treated fairly or reasonably. Or there could be people frequently asking you for favours that take your time. You may also be asked to do things you are not comfortable with, or that are against your beliefs or values.

By understanding the needs and rights of both parties, one will be able to manage difficult people and situations professionally. If you respond to these situations without careful thought, you could be perceived as being uncooperative, aggressive, weak, or simply a pushover.

If you use assertiveness skills in such situations, you are more likely to come to a resolution, or at least make others aware that you should get the respect that you deserve.
